No one wants an employee to suffer an injury - especially a work-related injury. But, work-related injuries happen even in the best run organizations.
In reality, it is not whether a work-related injury occurs, it is how the employer and the workers' compensation carrier respond when the injury occurs.
This session details the steps that must be taken immediately after, soon after and long after the workplace injury occurs. Topics include what to do and NOT do following an injury, return to work programs and what to do when an attorney gets involved.
The last two topics presented involve Medicare Set Aside (MSA) and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
